In 2024, Headwaters SWCD purchased a Watershed/Non-Point Source Pollution EnviroScape Model thanks to a grant funded by the Shenandoah Valley Pure Water Forum. We are happy to offer this as a hands-on classroom demonstration lesson focusing on the impact of various sources of pollution on watersheds. Suitable for grades 4-12, this model is aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL). Although timing is flexible, most lessons last between 30-45 minutes.
